# Explained once. Used again and again.
## A skill is a capability the AI agent brings in for a specific task: instructions, tools and access in one package. HUB.KI comes with ready-made skills, and you create your own in conversation.

## How a skill works
### Every skill describes what it is for. That is how the agent knows when the skill fits – and how you see what it does.
### The agent brings it in
If your request matches a skill’s description, the agent can use it on its own: ask for a job ad and you get it in the fixed format of the “Stellenanzeige” skill.
### Or you pick it
Typing “/” in the input field shows every skill available to you. Pick one, and the agent works with it specifically.
### With your approval
Skills work through the connected connectors. Write actions, such as uploading a file to SharePoint, can be put to you for approval first.
## Ready-made skills from HUB.KI
### Installed from the marketplace, ready to use. You decide which of them are available to everyone.

## Your own skills for your processes
### Your format, your tone, your checks: whatever should always run the same way in your team becomes a skill.
### Create it with the agent
The Skill Creator asks what the skill should do, writes it and saves it for you. Changes work the same way: in conversation.
### Write it yourself
If you would rather word the instructions yourself, create the skill manually and edit it the same way later.
### Import
A finished skill can be imported as a ZIP file, for example from another department or a workshop.
#### Job ad
Writes job ads in the same structure every time: tasks, requirements, what you offer, how to apply. One line with role, location and hours is enough.
#### Analyse a tender
Checks tender documents for deadlines, mandatory requirements and exclusion criteria, each with a page reference.
#### Customer replies in house style
Writes replies to customers the way your company writes – greeting, tone and signature included.
