Welcome to the Reintegrating Jumpstart Website

We are delighted that you are able to join us for this event. In preparation for the Jumpstart, we would like you to do four things:
- Explore the background reading/viewing content.
- Add to the background reading section. Each of you brings a unique perspective to this challenge. What would you recommend for us all to read?
- Learn about your fellow participants.
- Plan to attend one of the µLabs.

Microlab (µLab)
We held two 90-minute virtual µLabs. We hosted these meetings before the face to face Jumpstart for a few reasons; meet fellow participants, begin to dive into the playgrounds (what even are the playgrounds?), hear more about our goals for the event and overview of the agenda. What to bring?
Almost everything you will need to participate in the event will be provided. However, it is worth mentioning a couple of things:
- It will be useful to bring your computer or iPad. You will find it helpful for both accessing publications, and drafting ideas
- If the weather is nice, you may choose to work outside or go for a stroll when your mind is full of ideas. If you think this sounds appealing, please bring suitable shoes, etc.
What to wear?
Jumpstarts are completely informal events. So, we encourage you to wear whatever makes you comfortable, and creative. We won't be doing anything messy, but you might find yourself sitting on the floor, drawing a complex diagram, so haute couture is probably best avoided. There again, if designer clothes fire your imagination, we fully support your choice.
