• What would you like us to know about you?

  I am an interdisciplinary, coastal geoscientist interested in the response of salt marshes and mangroves to climate and human stressors. In 2010, I earned a Ph.D. in Ecology and Environmental Science (University of Maine), then taught two years of undergraduate Environmental Science at Allegheny College, and one year of undergraduate and graduate Marine Science at the University of the Virgin Islands, an HBCU. Currently, I am the Research Director at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve (Wells, ME), a nation-wide network of 28 NOAA-supported reserves dedicated to protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems through integrated research, stewardship, education, and community partnerships.
