In reflection.
Well, here I am back in the HUB after being away from Washington for just over a week.
I’ve shared my experience with a few folks around my campus, and a few friends. There have been some flurries of emails flown about with proposal ideas and such, but that has died down a little. I’ve contacted some faculty and local resources for the GeoCultura project https://hub.ki/projects/geocultura4/view, and I have spoken with some faculty and the local Planetarium for the Planetarium Earth project https://hub.ki/projects/planetariumearth/view.
Since I’ve been back, I successfully survived a two day snowboarding adventure. I dislocated my finger playing basketball (and I am only now getting my ability to type back.) I drove 3 hours to bring my son to Legoland: http://www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/westchester/ I spent time with friends and family in Milford, CT. I came back to upstate NY to find that I have a frozen or clogged pipe, and when I use my sink in the kitchen, my clothes washing machine in the basement fills up with sink water (and it doesn’t smell good, either). Today at Skidmore we have Alan Levine http://cogdogblog.com/ keynoting a talk for Profcamp: www.profcamp.org (By the way, there will be a livestream so check it out at 5pm EST)
It’s been a whirlwind, and I am finally getting back into the HUB.
So, here are some questions I have.
1) Did someone send around a mailing list with emails? I’d still like to get that Google Hangout going!
2) Is there a place where people are discussing things that I may not be aware of? I didn’t quickly find that in the HUB.
3) I am curious how everyone else is feeling since the Idealab?
I know I have told the story about the 3rd 3rd activity a couple times. People really seem to like that, and I thought it was pretty amazing also.
Well, I am not quite sure where this is going to get posted, or who is going to be alerted to it’s existence, but if you do read this please let me know somehow :)
Happy Belated St. Patrick’s Day :)

Hi Alex,
I received an email that you posted in the HUB – thanks for sharing what you have been up to and how you have been sharing your excitement and the innovations discussed at the Ideas Lab. I’m also still “amazed” at some of the activities and takeaways from our sandpit (and yes, even learning how to properly tear off a post-it note!). Looking forward to your Google Hangout session,
Laura

Views of the people in response are valued on all forums of the world. The challenge of the norm and resume writing group reviews is fizzed for the identical and all such issues for the people in life.
