  Dr. Rochelle Williams joined the ABET headquarters staff as Educational Research and Assessment Manager in the Professional Services Department in October of 2011 and currently serves as the Senior Manager, Professional Development and Research Services. In this role, Dr. Williams oversees the department, where she manages the planning, production, and execution of all ABET professional development global activities focused on providing educational opportunities on sustainable assessment processes for continuous program improvement. Furthermore, she partners with faculty and industry to conduct robust technical education research and is responsible for evaluating all potential educational research opportunities for ABET sponsorship. Dr. Williams received her doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education and her Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Southern University. Her dissertation,'' African-Americans Achieving PhDs: An Examination of Environment, Self and Behavior and its Affect on Effort towards Pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Engineering,'' shaped much of her passion to help create a diversified engineering workforce.
