• What would you like us to know about you?

  I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology and Plant Pathology at Mississippi State University. My research focuses on the neuro-endocrine regulation of stress responses using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster as a model system. I have had the good fortune of working with several motivated undergraduate students who have now gone on to pursue successful careers as MD PhDs. I am interested in networking and setting up collaborations with other researchers with a view to enhance participation of under-represented minorities in research opportunities in biomedical sciences.
