• What would you like us to know about you?

  Dr. Raja is an Associate Professor of urban and regional planning. Her research focuses on the role of local government planning and policy in building healthy communities and sustainable food systems. She directs Growing Food Connections, a 5-year project funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture to build local governments’ capacity to use planning to promote food security and viability of small and medium-sized agriculture (Dr. Jill Clark, OSU, is a Co-PI). Dr. Raja co-leads UB’s Community of Excellence in Global Health and Equity. Dr. Raja is a recipient of the 2014 Dale Scholar Prize for excellence in urban and regional planning scholarship.
