  Hi, I'm Mónica, assistant professor and student research program coordinator at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus. I have a bachelor's in chemical engineering, a master's in mathematics and a Ph.D. in biology. My research aims Systems Biology. I create mathematical models of complex biological systems from the molecular level to the cellular level. I then use the models to study the systems response to specific perturbations.
