  I am a shellfish ecologist at the Rutgers University Haskin Shellfish Research Lab. My research is framed around sustainable coastal food production. I am driven to better understand mechanistic processes at work in coastal shellfish populations, how those processes will respond to future climatic and anthropogenic stressors, and in turn how this can be used to develop sustainable and resilient strategies for coastal communities.
