  Jackson works in coastal Washington with The Nature Conservancy and Washington Sea Grant to 1) develop science-to-action outreach and collaborative planning about coastal hazards affected by sea level rise (WA Coastal Resilience Project), 2) assist local economic initiatives to affect systems change (WA Coast Works Alliance; TNC's Community, Economy, and Place Initiative). He has been involved in various roles with university-community partnerships in Washington, Louisiana, and the Carolinas, primarily around science-to-action and facilities development to meet community-stated needs. He likes talking to people outside, breathing deep, and looking at landforms. What about you?
