  Steve Dudgeon is a Professor in the Department of Biology at California State University, Northridge. He received his BA and PhD degrees in Biological Sciences from the Universities of California, Berkeley and Maine, Orono, respectively, followed by postdoctoral positions at Yale University and Penn. His research focuses on experimental marine ecology that examines community responses to large-scale, natural or anthropogenic perturbations to ecosystems, and identification of species and system-level traits that confer robustness or resilience to environmental change.
