What would you like us to know about you?
I grew up in Homer, Alaska where I now work as a coastal environmental educator with pre-schoolers through adults. I was 2.5 years old when the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill occurred, but the impacts of that spill continue to ripple through my family, community, and local ecosystems as well as the broader southcentral region. I've done some work with young people affected by oil spills in Alaska and Louisiana. I am deeply curious about the ecosystems I inhabit. I am passionate about helping people to build and sustain their own connections to dynamic places (human-ecological communities) as they strive to live there in a good way.
