What would you like us to know about you?
I am an electrical engineer/computer scientist - turned - environmental engineer/scientist, I love working on problems where critical challenges in managing natural or engineered systems require improving our ability to measure key parameters or being creative to extract more (or more accurate) information from existing (often messy or incomplete) data streams - usually but not always this has some connection to water chemistry. At Northeastern I am jointly appointed between the Colleges of Engineering (Civil & Environmental) and Science (Marine & Environmental) with an affiliate appointment in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Recently I have gotten very excited about methodological development for generalizing approaches to multimodal data fusion and the opportunities for aggregating learning across all fields that could come from this.
