• What would you like us to know about you?

  I am a computational geophysicist specialized in investigating the spatial-temporal variation of earthquake occurrence. My another research area is structural seismology which deals with imaging the interior structure of the Earth by mining tens of terabytes of digitally recorded seismograms using computer-intensive signal processing techniques including machine learning. While my initial goal stated in the preproposal was to revitalize and greatly advance the frontier of earthquake prediction, I am completely open-minded and am ready for any new brilliant ideas.
