What would you like us to know about you?
I have been working for the last more than 20 years in the area of Process Systems Engineering developing mathematical models to represent complex processes and complex decision making problems. Examples include pharmaceutical manufacturing continuous processing, supply chain management and biomass conversion to fuels and chemicals. Integral part of most of my work is to develop surrogate model approximations in order to be efficiently utilized in optimization and control strategies. The consideration of data-driven models and hybrid approaches are also of great interest to my research group.
