• What would you like us to know about you?

  I lead the Human-centred Automation, Robotics and Monitoring for Surgery Lab, HARMS Lab, at the Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine, Hamlyn Centre, Imperial College London. I received a BEng in Mechatronics from Sussex University, an MSc in Computing Science and a PhD on Medical Imaging and Surgical Robotics both from Imperial College London. My research interests include: • Surgical Robotics • Minimal Access Surgical Technologies • Perceptually-Enabled Human-Robot and Human-Computer Interfaces • Robotics for Assistive Living • Soft Robotics for Diagnosis and Treatment • Frugal Innovation • Whatever stimulates my imagination One of my favoutite quotes is: “To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk”.
